As summer comes to an end, we are anxiously awaiting all our new 2018 albums from this years weddings to pop into our inbox. However, we still have a few incredible ones from last year to chat about while we wait patiently! H&N were referred to us by our amazing friend, Nomo, from Simply Sweet Photography.
It was love at first coffee when we sat down with these two and met their family. The sweetest couple ever! We put together a custom planning package for them, making sure they had plenty of help staying on budget, since their wedding would be quite large with their Croatian background, and all the tools they need to plan a wedding alongside their busy lives! The overall look and design was also essential – a glam day filled with pink roses and lots of gold!
By the time the wedding came around, we had a dream team of vendors locked in and ready to wow the couple and their guests! Their vision came to life and surpassed their imaginations. It was a long day with lots of people and lots of moving parts…but the hugs and endless thank you’s at the end of the night (and the messages the next day!) spoke volumes on how genuinely happy they were with everything.
They wrote each other love letters to open the morning of the wedding. It’s one of my favorite recommendations to make on how to get the most out of a busy day – it doesn’t take up a lot of time in and the sentiment is just so beautiful!
Making sure the groom is looking his absolute best before the limo picks them up
All ready to head to the church so he can see his future wifey walk down that aisle!
Can’t forget the sparkles!
Just a few more touch ups to make sure she is absolutely picture perfect
Letter from the future hubby was so sweet – I can see someone is excited to get married!
When it is such a beautiful church, sometimes all it needs is a little fresh floral touch. These aisle markers were made with roses and stock, tied delicately with ribbon as to not harm the beautiful wood pews.
Can never get enough of those moments when he sees her for the first time down that aisle!
At long last!
Secret whispers to each other moments after they sign the license…all too cute!
They have been hubby and wifey for a while, now it is official!!
Post ceremony bliss, hanging out at the Rose Garden in Stanley Park. Perfect place for portraits for a bride who loves roses!
The bride’s bouquet had the most fragrant roses I’ve ever seen to this date…we added a touch of gold for a little glam!
And something blue…how about all the bridesmaids in blue? Love the navy dresses for this summer wedding!!
Giggling away, pure happiness right here!
And of course, the gents over here looking all suave
This was a big party – good thing we had Nomo to arrange everyone to get this killer group shot!
Veil shots in the breeze underneath the trees
Another one of my all-time favorite portrait shots! Completely obsessed with how perfect this is!
At the reception, the bride wanted a pink and gold glam style – and that’s what we did! Plenty of gold to go around with pink roses for each table. We alternated centerpieces between gold candelabras and rose floral arrangements to add lots of height and ambiance to this big ballroom
The table numbers, seating chart, and table menus were designed by Making Memories with Stationery for their big day – which provided the perfect finishing touch to their table setup!
Lots of love for this grand headtable!
We believe in repurposing as many of your florals as possible from the ceremony – we brought over the pew markers and used them to fill in the front of the table between all the glittering candles
“I love you”…”I know”…cutest toasting glasses ever? I think so! Not pictured…the matching Mr and Mrs tumblers! Love the whole set!
It’s a Croatian tradition to pin a rosemary branch to your left side as a form of good luck and good fortune upon arrival at a wedding…want to know another tradition? Welcome shots!
Just after the grand entrance, the bride and groom did their first dance before dinner began. Our stunning bride switched into a second gown for the evening that was is just as captivating as the first! Clearly, her new hubby couldn’t take his eyes off her
The bride had a specific idea in mind for her wedding cake and she couldn’t believe how beyond perfect it was to her vision!
Simply the cutest!
After dancing the night away with their entourage, H&N jetted off the next day to their honeymoon! It was such an honor to work with the sweetest of couples (seriously, SO sweet!!) and to have such a strong team of vendors to bring their big vision to life (seriously, they had a BIG wedding!!). H&N stole our hearts and we are forever thankful! Cheers to these two!
